We recommend you do not exceed the exposure schedule provided by the equipment manufacturer and/or salon professional.
You should leave a minimum of 24-48 hours between sessions.
We recommend that all traces of make-up, lipstick, perfumed body lotions and sprays are removed before using a sunbed.
No suntan preparations or lotions should be applied unless they are specifically formulated for use on sunbeds.
If seen using a lotion not designed for the equipment it will be confiscated.
DISCLAIMER
It is illegal to use a sunbed unless aged 18 years and over.
Never repeat tanning if any signs of redness remain from previous sunbathing or tanning.
Do not touch or tamper with the bulbs whilst using the equipment.
Always remove contact lenses.
Do not use sunbeds on the same day as sunbathing outdoors.
Never use UV tanning equipment without wearing eye protection. (eyewear provided)
Always advise salon staff if there are any changes to your medical condition or prescribed drugs.
Nothing in the information given above shall exclude our lability for personal injury or death due to our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage to valuables and other personal possessions left on the premises.
We shall not be responsible for any signs of burning or damage to your skin when advice given has not been taken.
Any pricing, offers, or service information shown on our website is subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service, promotion, or offer at any time.

Refund Policy

At Brown’s Tanning (“we”, “us”, “our”), we aim to provide a high standard of service and ensure every customer has a positive experience. This Refund Policy explains how refunds, package expiry, and credit requests are handled.
By purchasing any service, course, or package from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Packages and Expiry Dates
All tanning packages and course offers purchased from Brown’s Tanning are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise at the time of sale.
Once a package has expired, any unused minutes/sessions will be forfeited and cannot be extended, transferred, exchanged, or refunded.
We strongly recommend booking and using your sessions within the 6-month period to avoid any loss.
Our Unlimited Package expires 31 days from date of purchase & is time sensitive.
2. Refunds on Services and Packages
Due to the nature of our services, refunds are not offered for:

Used sessions or partially used packages

Unused sessions remaining on a package after the expiry date

Packages purchased in error or no longer wanted after purchase
All purchases are final once confirmed, unless we are legally required to provide a refund.
3. Faults, Issues, or Service Problems
If you experience a fault with equipment or have an issue during your visit, please notify a member of staff immediately so we can resolve it at the time.
Where appropriate, we may offer a suitable solution such as:

A replacement session

Account credit

Rescheduling (where relevant)
This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management. If your sessions is ended due to a fire evacuation, your minutes will be reaccredited.
4. Medical Issues and Skin Sensitivity
Tanning services may not be suitable for everyone. If you have a medical condition, sensitive skin, or concerns about UV exposure, we recommend seeking medical advice before using tanning services.
We cannot offer refunds due to personal reactions or sensitivity where the service has already been used, particularly if no issue was raised at the time of the appointment/session.
5. Promotions and Discounted Offers
Packages purchased as part of a promotion, discount, or special offer are subject to the same 6-month expiry periodunless stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
Promotional packages and discounted services are non-refundable.
6. Transfers and Sharing
Packages can be shared with 1 other customer or transferred to another account. They cannot be paused or extended. 6 Month expiry still applies.
